The former Bronco Motel, originally built in 1985, has been converted into 32 units of permanent supportive housing specifically for Veterans experiencing chronic homelessness and earn less than 30% of the average median income and. Step Up’s services will include compassionate wraparound services and case management and property management.
This extensive motel conversion is made possible in partnership with Shangri-La Industries and includes structural and safety upgrades, ADA compliance, new roof, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and other improvements including new kitchenettes and flooring. It is slated to open in 2022.
